OUR MISSION
Since our establishment in 1998, Bakersfield Prosthetics & Orthotics Center Inc. (BPOC) has been a trusted provider of quality services in the San Joaquin Valley for over 25 years. With two convenient locations in Bakersfield and Delano, we remain steadfast in our mission to facilitate the goals and physical rehabilitation of our patients.
We are committed to redefining the patient experience in the field of prosthetics and orthotics at BPOC. As a woman-owned, local, small business, we are guided by a mission to deliver exceptional care with a deep sense of compassion and a holistic approach. Our focus extends beyond simply providing products; we are dedicated to being an indispensable part of our patients' recovery journeys. Through customized solutions aimed at improving mobility, safety, and overall independence, we strive to empower each individual we serve.

In 2024, we proudly launched the Amputee Success Program, designed to ensure the most successful outcomes for amputees transitioning into a prosthesis. We offer company-funded services to our new amputees, further demonstrating our belief in the transformative power of prosthetics. This initiative exemplifies our commitment to innovation and excellence in patient care.
Moreover, our dedication to community outreach and O&P education underscores our belief in the importance of informed decision-making and ongoing support. By expanding our efforts in patient outreach and education, we aim to foster greater awareness and understanding within our community.

At BPOC, our patients are not just our focus—they are our inspiration, driving us to continually raise the standard of care in prosthetics and orthotics. Together, with our network of healthcare providers, we strive to bring exceptional service and care to the community we call home. Our goal is simple: to keep Kern County moving, one patient at a time.
